My wife and I don’t always share the same favorite TV shows, but we have one right now: High Potential.
A single mom with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual partnership with a by-the-book detective.
Morgan was a “cleaning woman,” but her mind is able to remember every single piece of information that she’s ever consumed.
She has a real-life diagnosis of “high intellectual potential” (HIP), which means she’s a super-genius who can remember every single detail of everything she’s ever read or seen.
For example, in one episode, she solved a crime by knowing that “all Catholic churches have faced east since the 5th century.”
I’m glad you asked.
So, for the personal AI assistant that I’m working on, I’m adding more and more ridiculous details on every single minute aspect of myself that I can think of.
My quirks, my favorites, my hobbies, where we went on our honeymoon, my nuances, my team, my pet peeves, my work habits, my team dynamics and workflows . . .
Just like Detective Morgan uses seemingly trivial details to solve cases, AI systems thrive on granular information to provide better solutions
In other words, more stupid details = better answers.
It may not seem important now, but that’s irrelevant.
If you’re investigating a crime scene and you see a red spot, you don’t judge whether it’s important or not. You take a sample, test it and decide later.
When creating an AI assistant for your business or personal use, you want the BEST answers it can give.
And the only way it can do that is by having ALL the information.
If you’re not getting the answers you want from AI with your prompts, you’re probably not giving it enough stupid information.
Speaking of loading AI with "stupid details"...
I'm actually teaching a boot camp on building AI assistants, and the #1 mistake I see is people being too vague with their AI instructions.
Quick update on that front...
Due to overwhelming response (and some scheduling conflicts), we're pushing the start date back one week. The boot camp will now launch next Thursday, February 27.
I want my newsletter subscribers to get the best deal possible, so use coupon code BCV2100 to grab your spot at the discounted price of $499.
AND... I've arranged something special - when you sign up using our link, you'll get a $200, 60-day credit on DigitalOcean to host your AI assistant.
