Tons of Services Added DeepSeek Over the Weekend and Here's Why

DeepSeek isn’t just another AI—it actually shows its thought process. Here’s why that’s a game-changer for automation, business, and AI development.

One of my favorite English words is “ubiquitous.”

ubiquitous
/juːˈbɪkwɪtəs/
adjective

1. Present, appearing, or found everywhere.
"Mobile phones have become ubiquitous in modern society"

2. Omnipresent; seeming to be everywhere at the same time.
"The ubiquitous smell of coffee filled the air in the cafe"

Origin: Early 19th century: from Latin ubique 'everywhere' (from ubi 'where' + que 'any, also') + -ous.

Starts with a “u” and has a “q” and a “b” . . . it’s an uncommonly interesting word.

I’ll tell you what IS ubiquitous — DeepSeek.

In just a few days, it’s been integrated EVERYWHERE:

  • Perplexity

  • n8n

  • Amazon Bedrock (their AI service)

  • Microsoft Azure

  • ElevenLabs (AI voice service)

  • CloudFlare

But I want to show you WHY it’s become the new black.

It’s a reasoning LLM.

If you haven’t used a “reasoning LLM,” you're truly missing out on massive power.

Remember in math class when your teacher made you “show your work.”

Typical LLMs (openai-4o) don’t show their work.

Reasoning LLMs DO show their work.

Let me illustrate using Perplexity Pro with DeepSeek:

This is my prompt:

I want to create social media posts to promote my Coda consulting. The specific audience I want to target is NGOs that provide food and medical services to poverty-stricken countries

If you use a typical LLM like OpenAI-4o or Claude, it will spit out a list of social media posts.

But HOW did it come up with those posts?

Who knows. AI magic.

But with DeepSeek, you get the ENTIRE thought process with EXCRUTIATINGLY AMAZING detail:

A reasoning engine isn’t content with just giving you an answer, but it shows you its work (just like high school math class!).

And the detail is mind-blowing.

AND it’s CHEAP and FAST, which is why it’s taken such a foothold so quickly.
